What I’m pinning: spring fashion
It’s definitely starting to feel like spring around the ATX! I love this time of year — the sky gets a little brighter and the weather is absolutely perfect here (chilly at night, 65-70 degrees and sunny during the day). Of course, it’s not REALLY spring to me until SXSW kicks off here in town, and since it’s only a few weeks away, it’s time for me to peruse some new, spring-y wardrobe pieces to wear. Here’s what I’m gravitating towards this season:
- All-things mint. I love this color, and find it so fresh and fun for spring! There are all kinds of mint options out there, from tops to shoes to jeans to accessories. I love pairing a pastel like this with nude, white or chambray. Or, even something a little more trendy, like neon.
- Oxfords! I’m a big fan of cute flats, and love the menswear for women trend. I lean towards the more feminine styles of these shoes, and love the options with some fun colors or prints.
- Basics. I like to have a strong collection of basics in my closet — it’s a go-to stash for easy wardrobe options when I’m feeling lazy, and good to have to pair with trendy items sometimes.
